Depending on the number of albergues and other accommodations on the next stage I have been booking a day or two in advance. If there are many albergues in a town or a large municipal I don't feel the need to book.
A friend of mine is an activities director at a senior assisted living place, and while she was on the Camino another staff member would show her daily Find Penguins blog to the residents on the big screen TV in their common room.
When are you leaving? I buy wool on Amazon. I find the kind that's no marketed to hiker's to be less expensive. Look for "lamb's wool for feet."
You could also ask a podiatrist. My mother's podiatrist gave her some to deal with hammer toes.

And Find Penguins for blogging/sharing photos with friends and family.
I've used Relive in the past, but it wasn't always that accurate with distances. But that was...

A couple of years ago I stayed in an apartment in Santarém while on the Camino Portugués. Part of my grocery shopping was a bottle of red wine. I had already checked that there was a wine opener in the kitchen drawer. However, when I went to open the bottle I found that the opener was broken...
I really wanted to take it, because it's super comfortable, but the first time that I tried it out the straps made an annoying sound as they rubbed on the fabric of the pack, so I'm using the same backpack that I've used for the last couple of Caminos. My first day on the trail I realized that...
Rather than go to the REI store you can order a variety of options from them and then just make one trip to return those that don't work out - and you'll have s year to do it.
I see that you are in the US. If you have an REI store nearby become a Co-op member. You will be able to return shoes that don't work for you, even after you have worn them outside.
