    Try WarmShowers but be aware they are experiencing difficulties with their email system so message several in the area. Also some hostels / hotels will have storage, those out of town will probably have larger facilities

    About 200km but plenty of short wicked steep hills in north Spain. Remember most of the traffic will be on the A8/E70 with local traffic coming off to the popular coastal towns. Apart from the two previous suggestions also look on Wikiloc for suitable routes and try Komoot, if not already using...

    Interesting, are there more surfers than peregrinos in October? Most of the surfers will be in camper-vans not sleeping in the albergues / hostals / hotels, surely?
