    Your most valuable stamp

My favourite stamp also isn't an actual stamp. It's from a private accomodation in northern France in a part where there are very few pilgrims. It's run by a couple in a tiny village who have been hosting pilgrims for many years. One of them is an artist. They collect your pilgrims passport at...

German Jakobswege, Via Scandinavica, experiences, and how to continue!?

I’ve also done a different route out of Germany (Cologne - Metz - Dijon - Cluny). Between Beaune and Le Puy, my accommodations were a mix of camp sites (I carried a tent), private rooms, hostels and hotels. Really a bit of everything and very friendly people all around. I did get a pilgrim...

New high-speed train low cost Avlo service Madrid-Galicia and Madrid-Asturias - tickets from 7 euros

Wow, nice! Thank you so much, this 7:06 (Santiago) - 10:32 (Madrid) train is perfect for me. I was planning to take the one arriving at 11:34 but was wondering if that's a bit tight. To arrive one hour earlier gives me that extra bit of time to get from Chamartin to Atocha without worry.

    Weather in April

When I started on April 1st, the Napoleon route was closed due to a snow storm, had a few days of rain and strong wind, 30°C by the end and everything in between. People a week behind us had snow on O Cebreiro. Be prepared for all kinds of weather.

    Renfe - help with translation

Haha, I‘m sure everyone who has ever used it agrees with that! Thanks all for your suggestions! Since my return journey already is two days on different trains as I don’t fly, I‘m not too keen to include buses into the equation. I tried some different options and it seems like going via...

    Renfe - help with translation

Thanks! The translation I got was a bit funky, so I wanted to make sure. Don't mind the no pets/no bikes part as I don't plan to take either. ;) Not thrilled about bus travel, I guess I'm going to see if taking a different route would be an option.

    Renfe - help with translation

Hi all, I'm in the process of booking train tickets for my way home after I finish the Primitivo in August. Generally, I'm okay navigating the Renfe website, but am looking for help from the Spanish speakers regarding an alert I am getting in the booking process. I can read enough Spanish for...
