Alert Fires in Portugal
All the advice was to skip to porto. North of Aguida is thick smoke and apparently a lot of damage. Local advice was that even after the fire is consoled it is pretty much a wasteland to walk. Do not despair brother. You will be amazed what you candour, rather than what you can't. My friend has a similar diagnosis and for this reason I am dedicating this Camino Portuguese from Lisbon to raise funds for Parkinsons UK. Walk the Camino, while working remotely?
Agree with most comments. You would be wasting hard earned leave if you try and work . Camino should be about enjoying the moment. Dodgy wifi, lack of privacy and don't forget security of the connection would spoil an enjoyable experience IMHO. I would go for Porto option and enjoy the full two...- demetia
