Last night I learned I snore...

If I recall correctly, the 2nd time I suspected it was him, and the third time I knew it was him. The third time was at 4:30 and I nearly did set out!

Last night I learned I snore...

The difference though is that snoring is a 100% natural thing, just like farting, tossing and turning, and going to the bathroom at 3am. Smoking is not at all natural.

Last night I learned I snore...

Oh I'm fine with the dying bit. It's the creepy hands induced nightmares on the way to dying that bother me...

Last night I learned I snore...

I don't plan on doing anything about it. You're paying 10 euro for a cheap, shared space. Snoring is part of the package, along with smells, early risers, bathroom lights, too hot/cold temperatures, and more! Like I said, the other person didn't hear a thing. So until I learn more from someone...

Last night I learned I snore...

So I just crossed the midway point on the CF, and last night I learned I snored. Well I knew I did sometimes, but had no idea how often or how loudly. Sleep apps have recorded some, but only in short bursts every few hours. But last night I can only assume that I was snoring like a chainsaw...

What to do with my car?

    Good to hear, thanks!

What to do with my car?

Well yes, but that was "before the event." I am now in the "after" which is why I have the time to walk at all ;)

What to do with my car?

Something I realized - I have cellular app-based remote start control. I wonder if I can start it from 10,000 miles away?? Kind of a scary thought! Won't help with moving the tires, but does at least get the juices flowing for a bit.

What to do with my car?

I don't expect there to be many car experts here, but, like I said, I would expect there are more people that have left their cars unused for the 1-2 month range, so I was curious what their experiences have been.

What to do with my car?

Yeah, I had that thought too shortly after I posted this.

What to do with my car?

Thanks for such a comprehensive list!

What to do with my car?

Funny, I just purchased an iPhone a few weeks ago, and just a couple hours ago purchased an airtag. I was going to put it in luggage, but putting this one in the car and buying another one at my next stop sounds like a great idea!

What to do with my car?

So I leave home in about 15 hours and there's one thing I haven't quite figured out yet -- what to do with my car? Between pre and post camino travel, I'll be away from home for 50+ days, possibly a full two months. I'm single and have no friends or family in my current city to ask for favors...

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

No no, see, if you have a removable battery then you take the battery out, carefully drill out plastic holes leaving only enough for it to be structurally sound, then put the battery back in. With the battery in place, the remaining plastic shouldn't break in half. Hopefully...

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

I tried the Quip, it's not quite as aggressive as I would prefer... I like the idea of not needing a separate charger, I'll take a look, thanks!

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

I think I will try that test! One surprise already - the sweat pants weigh less than the hiking pants. 15oz for the hiking pants, 14oz for the sweat pants.

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

    How do you mean?
  18. T

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

Sooo actually! I just discovered -- my regular electric tooth brush tops in at a little over 2lbs (34 oz), PLUS the charger. No bueno... BUT, the Quip toothbrushes are somewhere in the 7oz to 12oz range, depending who you believe on the internet. Plus a 0.5oz AAA battery that lasts three months...

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

I think all electric toothbrushes themselves are battery operated, don't think many people to be putting a 110 or 220 device straight into their mouths ;) But the charger (yet more space and weight) would be electric. My toothbrush lasts about 3ish weeks on a charge, so unfortunately I would...

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

These are polyester sweat pants, but yes they're still relatively heavy and I expect won't dry super fast -- but I also don't anticipate them getting wet too often, and I wouldn't expect to need to wash them that frequently. Still, very valid concerns, the jury is still out on them.
