Will be doing hopefully my first of many Camino journeys leaving out of Porto December 29. From what I can tell, highs in 50’s to 60’s F and possibly some but not a lot of moisture with no snow along the coast.
Anyone done this route around this time, considering weather is always different...
Agreed! We will walk our first of hopefully many Caminos This coming December. The book Walking with Sam by Andrew McCarthy was our main inspiration, then going down the very deep, long rabbit hole of videos of every route on YouTube made us commit.
The Way was good, but did little to influence us.
This is a great post and is very well written. I’ve yet to do a Camino, but I see it as a very individualistic journey that as a fellow pilgrim, I just would not have the right to do anything to interrupt it for another pilgrim.
