One detergent only for all body needs, including laundry as well. Some 200ml are well enough, even for long Caminos. Additionally a small bottle of pure alcohol, which combined with sunscreen makes a decent aftershave 🤓
Obviously the Camino is for everyone! But there is another side of the coin. A pilgrim is expected to spend the money on the Camino. At least a donation.
Guess who has said “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs”?
Thank you for your words! I know the feeling... Epiphany over here is regarded as a turning point between the Christmas joy and the brand new year standing in front of us for one more time ...
Thank you, great pictures indeed!
In March of 2018 we had 1 week for a blitz-camino :)
Day 1. Helsinki-flight-Madrid-bus-Burgos
Day 2. In Burgos and then bus to Leon.
Day 3. Walking Leon - Hospital de Orbigo
Day 4. Walking Hospital de Orbigo - Astorga
Day 5. Walking Astorga - El Acebo
Day 6...
... perhaps the above explains...
The Camino may easily revise the scale of your values, what feels a little disturbing. Not necessary a bad thing after all. An answer to such challenge might be to envision where you want to find yourself in 10 years form now and go for it. Buen Camino!
