    I only had a liner and was sorry I didnt have a light sleeping bag as I found the liners awkard to get in and out of. Maybe if it had a zip but mine didn't. The sleeping bag can become a blanket when needed and in my opinion is more versatile. And it gives better cushioning on the plastic bed...

    On my Camino last year I arrived in Santiago Sept 25th along with 641 other pilgrims. I checked up on the official figures for the same day this year and 885 arrived. I expected the figures to be much higher as in pre pandemic years.

    Fr Manny, a most lovely man, he took us all out for coffee after Mass in Nov this year and I was very blessed hearing all his stories. His Mass was a highlight for me 2 years ago on another Camino. I think I will write to him too.
