    Yes , your current albergue will have an envelope to transport to your required next stop. I paid 5 euro to not carry my pack over the Hospialas route. Well worth it.

    I like liquid in a tightly capped squeeze bottle . It only take a dozen drops to hand wash. 3 to 4 ounces is enough for 3 weeks . You can alway buy more and leave the balance for other pilgrims

    I use my own method of “steps and breaths “ sometimes 50 steps then 20 breaths while standing still . Sometimes 50/50, 30 steps then thirty breaths. In less stressful climb I’ll verbally count steps with exaggerated breaths. Like one. , the two etc with deep full breaths each time , works for me -
