    Making A Map

Thank you David, I am trying to map a walk for which I cannot find a map. I wanted to use whatever Wise Pilgrim uses as I find his maps very easy to follow. I have started to use the Outdoor Active as suggested by Paul-CH, but I find it too busy for me. I'll keep looking. 🍷 🥾

    Making A Map

It doesn't have to be based on anything- I am looking for the simplest way possible to put dot on a map like Wise Pilgrim. My skills are lacking and my patience is wearing thin. Thank you all. :( 🍷 🍷 🥾

    Making A Map

I have been trying to figure out how to make a walking map similar to those of Wise Pilgrim (little dots along the way)! The only apps I have found draw straight lines from point to point. Is it possible to make a similar map in advance or only by walking? Any help is appreciated.

    Women's swimsuit

I do the same-my top is actually short sleeved (made out of swimsuit fabric) that can double as a t-shirt.

Darn Tough socks are my favorite socks- they also have a lifetime guarantee so you can return them for a new pair anytime.

Bathroom stops on the camino for female Peregrinas

I would pay more for the compostela-10 euros compared to prices for everything else now would not be excessive. When we first returned to Spain in 2015 and I used the ladies (am I allowed to say that) bathroom in the Chamartin Station I gagged because of how awful they were. Two years ago and...

Bathroom stops on the camino for female Peregrinas

Female walkers can do without "these ridiculous devices" if they wish or not. There is also clothing that we can wear that unzips. I prefer the trousers, but I understand that there are leggings that have the same function. I think we each have to find our own way to deal with natures' call...

I'll use my SheFly pants before I try using something like that, I can't imagine not making a mess, but thanks. 😊 🥾

How to call a US cell number from the US (when the phone is in Spain)

Thank you, that is exactly what I thought. I need data and texts but calls I can do wifi calls and zoom with family and not have to pay per minute. WhatsApp should also work. Guess I have to get serious about switching!!

How to call a US cell number from the US (when the phone is in Spain)

Is T-Mobile free to call home to the US? I have been looking to switch from AT&T which charges $10/day for 10 days per billing period. I looked into T-Mobile and I understood that unlimited data would carry over, but calls would cost per minute. If not, I need to look again because I thought I...

    What brand sports bra?

I had to buy an Anita sports bra because I mow a field that has seen many horses and cows that have left hoof prints. While it was a purchase for a specific circumstance it has become my everyday bra- supportive and very quick drying!

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

Mine uses a charging cord that plugs into a USB port- it is not 110 or 220. It is the same cord that my Ipad uses to charge.

Can you convince me NOT to take paper copies?

I have gone from 100% paper copies to about 50/50- I do worry because even though I email everything to myself my husband does not have a phone so if mine is lost or broken we can only access what we need when there is wifi for his tablet.

    sweat/jogging pants, and electric toothbrushes

I carry a Phillips One- it is rechargeable on a USB cord, and I have found that the charge lasts longer than the instructions say. If you don't carry the case it come in it will be lighter, but even with case it is not heavy.

Women who wear shirts.... please share

I carry Carve Designs Dylan gauze shirts when traveling- walking or not. They are very light and quick drying and the sleeves button up. I wear them walking to protect from the sun, then wash them for the evenings.

    New Sandals!

I would love to walk in open toe sandals, but it is just not possible. We live on a farm and it just drives my husband crazy that I walk around in sandals. (Injuries to you toes!) So I have compromised with some Teva sandals that cover my toes when I walk if not in shoes. (They look like mary...
