We plan to walk The Pembrokeshire Coast in Wales which is similar in the sense that there are “stages” with villages and luggage can be sent ahead. The “religious”’aspect is yours to bring and should be easy to meditate on walking through Gods spectacular beauty in this part of the world.
I booked in advance - mostly using Book.com. We used Camino Facil to transport bags. They’re easy to communicate with using WhatsApp and also provide taxi dispatch. Highly recommend using a Spanish SIM card so you can always have service when there’s no WiFi
Ponferrada is a pretty large city. I googled and 10 came up. The word in Spanish is fisioterapia (physical therapy) and fisioterapista (phys therapist). Probably better than google would be to ask a pharmacist for a recommendation.
