That’s correct, y’all. Bless your heart for asking. (I’m joking - in these parts that’s a slam !)

    Orisson alternative??

We met pilgrims without reservations who had to taxi back to St Jean and return in the morning. My guide book lists Ferme Ithuburia in Honto and Kayola 800m before Orisson.

    Orisson alternative??

Is there a Place in the Modern World for "Pilgrimages"?

We plan to walk The Pembrokeshire Coast in Wales which is similar in the sense that there are “stages” with villages and luggage can be sent ahead. The “religious”’aspect is yours to bring and should be easy to meditate on walking through Gods spectacular beauty in this part of the world.

    Private Room Roncesvalles

Injured my back and need to shorten my walk - which parts can be shortened (by bus...)?

A physical therapist came to our hotel in Zubiri & saved the day for my husband. The hotel arranged it - it’s worth asking wherever you stay. It cost about $20 (and travel ins covered it). For taxi, we used Camino Facil. They do a great job of bag transfer and have cab dispatch. They’re...
