    Surprised at our test results poncho vs jacket

    I’ve had good luck with this pinch as well. Use in combination with OR’s lightest rain jacket. Together they weigh less than then a gortex jacket and provide lots of versatility in wet and/or cold situations. Agree that the negative is cost but you can find both on sale if you are patient.

    I walked from Santiago to Muxia last year after completing the Camino Frances. Signage was good. People walking from Muxia to Santiago (having gone to Fisterra first) were quite frustrated with the signage. Based on this I'd recommend Santiago, Muxia, Fisterra.

    I would recommend CAA. I travel a lot and appreciate that they cover COVID and a reasonable to work with. As part of the insurance coverage they provide a few additional services. Enjoy you Camino.

    I used the tracker. It uses very little battery and I like how FP uses your trip information in the book they put together for you.

    Walked the entire Camino Frances and then on to Muxia in Hoka Speedgoat 5s in April/May They were great through wet, cold, hot and varied terrain. Brought them home as they still have some tread.

    We are in Pamplona. Lots of mask wearing inside which is reassuring. The requirement is being lifted in a week though. Now that the weather is warming up we will be doing more eating outside. Nice that there are peregrinos but not so many that you are worried about being to close.
