All albergues in Negreira closed

Hey all, For anyone looking to extend their Camino beyond Santiago to Fisterra/Muxia, please note that all the albergues in Negreira are closed! Luckily in Alto da Pena there are albergues open but it is another 9km further along.

1st time Camino. Starting Frances 26th Sep

Thank you! Safely completed the San Salvador in reverse and now onto the Frances from León. It was surprisingly well marked going against the flow and if I was ever in doubt then the map on the Wise Pilgrim app was handy! Would heartily recommend the route, though it’s not for the faint-hearted

Via de la Plata in reverse (Gijón to Cádiz)

Thanks so much for the advice! I’ve unfortunately had to call off the Via de la Plata part of the journey as I’ve been told only 20% of albergues are open. currently in León, having started my Camino on the Norte near Llanes and followed the San Salvador in reverse from Oviedo. I used Wise...

@Crosscheck Rider it's a fair point! I'm in two minds about it but luckily have a month in Asturias first to assess the situation. Can't say I'd be too fussed about being locked down in Spain if it came to that, though...
