    Where to find Engo patches?

Hello, I am very prone to blisters, through trial and error have been able to reduce but not eliminate. I read the info about Engo patches and would like to try, but they do not seem to be available, even online, in Canada. Can you purchase in pharmacies along the Camino Frances? Thanks

    Vaseline on feet?

I also used the Engo patches and they are still on my orthotics a year later. Still going strong. Hugely successful in preventing rubbing!

...www.footkinetics.com You can find other recommendations from ultra-marathoners on www.fixingyourfeet.com Like DaveBugg, I highly recommend the Engo patches. I learned about the Engo patches from that FixingYourFeet site, too, after I wrote to the guy asking what I could use instead of...

...same mechanism which allows liner socks to work -if the proper methods of wearing them are observed - is the same mechanism of prevention that Engo Patches provide. I remember during the testing of the Engo that the though suddenly popped into my mind that if someone uses liner sock/dual...

...the sock. A tight shoe can force the sock to move against the skin. An effective add on to the shoe is the application of the self-adhering Engo Anti-Blister patches. They are very effective at preventing shear force friction blistering by making it easy for the sock to move inside the shoe...

    Recommendations: No blisters, no sunburn!

It's not a competition. I just wondered if they were similar to the Engo patches. They are certainly less expensive. It's good to know about other options. Thanks for letting us know about them, and how well the sleeves worked for you.

    Recommendations: No blisters, no sunburn!

I have tried them. They are not as versatile as Engo Patches on where they can be applied in the shoe or insole, nor do they have the same level of lubricity as Engo Blister Patches. They can decrease the risk for blistering in the area of the heels. I find that overall the Engo Patches are a...

Not sure. I haven't heard about Engo patches. I found Blista Bloc on a website and ordered them. I think I paid $7 for a set.

I wonder how these compare to the Engo patches that @davebugg recently reviewed. https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/review-impression-engo-blister-prevention-patches-part-1-2.62703/

A Test/Review of the Engo Blister Patch is Coming

...compared both the Compeed product and Body Glide, Body Glide seemed to last a bit longer overall. I will be talking about a much better skin application product called 2Toms as part of the Engo Patch review, It is available in NZ, and is superior to either the Compeed or the Body Glide products.

A Test/Review of the Engo Blister Patch is Coming

After 10+ months and 800+ miles of use, I am in the process of writing up a review of the Engo Blister Patch. There have been several Forum members who have found them effective and recommend them as part of a blister prevention strategy, so my posting about them is nothing new. I am hopeful...

    Merino Wool Care

That would definitely help reduce wear from the rubbing. The downside might be that the straps then are unpleasantly slippery. :-) Keeping straps well-positioned might be challenging if they are 'ice skating' around. Perhaps one could apply some extra fabric swatches to those points of...
