Does anyone know if it is safe to book the Bayonne to St. Jean train at the last minute or should you book in advance? I have tried the former online but for some reason it keeps refusing my card, though Visa says it has gone through.

How much did you really train for the camino?

I too am dealing with a "close to" frozen shoulder. I developed rotator cuff tendonitis 7 months ago and it just isn't healing, despite lot of PT, massage therapy and daily exercises. So my pack training is fairly cautious, and I am especially careful putting the pack on and off. My biggest...

Camino Frances... October 11th

I leave STPP on Oct 3 and hope to make it to the coast (but accept that I may not) in time to get back to Santiago by Nov. 12 to catch return flights to Canada. Buen camino to all and perhaps we will meet along the way. Laura
