Hello everyone,
My name's Robbie, and I walked the Frances in October 2023. When I got home, my husband, Chris, and I talked about creating something together. We both love exploring places on foot and believe in the transformative power of walking. It just happens that he's excellent at what he does with user experience design. Then, serendipitously, we met our friend Eric, who also quit his job to join us and build the app. We all met at a Zen temple here in Honolulu, Hawaii.
We are an indie startup with a big mission of making walking a daily practice for more people, just like what Headspace did for meditation.
I'm not at all a tech person. I worked in health care (nursing) my entire career. This is all new to me, and there's a lot of new learnings and uncertainty. If there's one thing I've learned on my first Camino, it's to embrace and surrender to the unknown. There are days when I get emotional that what we're doing is the right thing, and some days, I just don't know. Maybe some of you can relate.
Just sharing this with fellow pilgrims. I'm hoping some of you can try and download the app. We are in the early baby stage and would greatly appreciate any feedback.
Feel free to start a conversation with me here or best at robbie@forpedestrians.com.

Wish you all the best, and Buen Camino! <3
