For all photographers there's something unspoken that drives them to create images that tell stories, even if unintended. As a photographer I started off on my thousand kilometer journey from Lourdes in France to Santiago de Compostela without any sort of camera agenda, heck, I didn't even know whether I was going to return home with a single photo to show. Yet, when you page through this memoir of black and white images and it's zen-like accompanying text, there's an almost mystical thread that weaves through the photographs I took along the way. None of it was planned, but yet it's a completed jigsaw puzzle reflects the common elements perhaps in a new way, where black and white images strip away the frivolous and reveals the essence of the journey. If you are inspired by black and white photography, you'll enjoy this.
