Quick question. As I have not watched my favorite Christmas movie "Love Actually" in a few years, (will watch it this year) I do not remember if you all over in merry old England prefer to say Happy Christmas instead of the way we say it in your former colony, Merry Christmas, or it is your personal preference or what's the story haha. Just wondering. It is good my life is pretty happy right now that I can reflect on a profound subject like this one.
And not being of the Christian faith my I wish you a Happy Hanukkah. I hope you have your dreidel ready and win lots of chocolate coins.

Happy Xmas and Merry Xmas are pretty much used interchangeably verbally I would say in UK, with no real preference for either. I think shops go with ‘Merry Xmas’.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

@David (Hope our ways may cross once more, my friend) and all: Merry Christmas!

After a turbulent (personally) year 2024, things can only get better, and I look forward to heading out from Burgos next May, celebrating my 71th birthday, with my daughter. As the ad says: "Because I'm worth it!"

Edit: I am often wondering: Why do I return to walk the same (or another) Camino in Spain? I have not found an answer: I guess it's like what our esteemed forum member @mspath often quotes:

"the heart has its reasons, of which reason knows nothing".

This is a quote from the French mathematician Blaise Pascal, who established the foundation for computer principles/concepts, even if the machinery/technology was not of the quality to build a computer. But his principles were (basically) correct,, and he was also a founder of modern probability theory, amongst other things.

He has given name to one of the more important computer programming languages, Pascal.

I know this stuff bc. I have my 50th year anniversary as a computer engineer this year... :D:D

One can say of Blaise Pascal: From heart to computers, his mind spanned quite a lot...
