Do you already have a reservation there?

You don't need to get an early start to get to Orisson. I recommend spending the morning in SJPdP before heading up the hill. It's only about 5 (steep) miles, and there's no point in getting there super early. I would plan to take about twice as long as it usually takes you to walk 5 miles.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Yes May 1st, forgot Spanish way.
Note that the Spanish calendar week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.

I goofed once and made an un-cancelable train reservation based on the position of the day on the calendar rather than the date. Although it would have been cheaper to buy more tickets for the correct, earlier day I extended our stay by a day instead. Since this was extra day spent in Barcelona it was the better choice.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
