This will be my first Camino so therefore my first time on the Napoleon Route. I see you are from TX. I live in Dallas.
We are in College Station. I started in SJPP last March so the Valcarlos Route was the only option for me. This time my wife is coming with me, and we are looking forward to going over the top. I loved being in the mountains - except the times when it was raining sideways! :)

I have Auberge Borda booked for Sept 23. Any chance you and your wife will be there then? Are you flying into Paris?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

We'll be a week ahead of you - Sep 16! I haven't made our flight arrangements yet. We'll either go into Paris or Madrid. I flew into Madrid last spring but am considering Paris this go-round. Although my Spanish is much better than my French!

Reservations for September already -- well done! Holy moly, I need to get on top of the planning. 2025 is coming at me (us?) fast!!!
I'll be walking in June - but I only plan with 3 albergue/hotel stops, and that's in larger towns - so I'll wait to March/April before making reservations. I'm going to walk from Burgos to Santiago and mostly sleep outside in what will be an 8 day walk. I walk very long every day.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Thanks guys for the heads up! I’ve booked Borda for next year June! I’m feeling so excited. Anyone knows if they accept luggages/backpacks if I’m planning to forward my luggage?

I'm starting from SJPP March 10, 2025, first Camino. Curious about your weather the first couple of weeks?
