I'm on the Inglés at the moment and have discovered that the Wise Pilgrim app isn't tracking where you are. The other Wise Pilgrim route apps are working fine. Using Buen Camino now instead which is a bummer as I'd got the paid version. 😕

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

If you haven't tried these things already:
On my iPhone it gives me the option to use or shut off cellular data for each individual app. I imagine there's a setting for android as well. Make sure it is on.

Close the application and restart your phone. Sometimes that solves glitchy problems.

As was said, in the above post, the developer of the app is a member here and will probably respond once he sees this. But there's also a chat/message box on the website that I think will get a message to the developer.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

I found the Ingles, which we hiked in late September, to be very well signed.

That it is. But I do so like tracking exactly where I am and ticking them off, one by one!

I’ve only ever found tracking apps useful in cities. I always pin my hotel while sober and then can rely on taxi-drivers; police or even my own feet to get me back to where I started.

Walking a way-marked path to a known destination, while sober(ish)? Wuffo I want to stare at this thing instead of where I is?

Fail to prepare? reduce your risk by buying this book full of practical info.
