October 12th (65 on 13/10) from SJPDP. Just so folks don’t get confused when they see me going in both directions; due to the vast array of medication, catheters, sacs etc I am using a Camping Car so basically doubling the distance I ride (on the roads). Example, yesterday I left the Pilgrim’s Office at approx 10 AM (helped thru the process by a very nice lady); mounted my trike and slowly plowed my way up to the Col with the church (Puerto de Ibañeta), looked at my watch then went rather quicker back to SJDPD where I put the trike on the trailer and drove to Urrobi campsite. Today I will cycle back to Puerto de Ibañeta then drop in for lunch at Roncesvallee before returning to campsite. Tomorrow I hope to ride to Zubiri then return; next day position camping car at Ezcarba campsite in Pamplona and, if I feel strong enough, climb up to Zubiri and return. Thus my trip evolves, hopefully somewhere around Burgos by 28 October (cos I have Doctors appointment for monthly restricted drugs etc on 30/10). Long way of saying, don’t be surprised if you see an orange AZUB trike going in both directions, there is method to my madness. Question to the group please: Is it 2 stamps a day now or just for the final 200 km? Thank you, Vern (please wave if you recognise my steed). Bueno Camino to you all.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
