Flying out today!

I leave today! Flying into Barcelona and will then spend the entire next day training to SJPDP through Narbonne, Toulouse, and Bayonne.

Got a couple points of concern I'd love to get input on:

1) I have 2 train transfers that are only 15 mins- one in Toulouse Matabiau, one in Bayonne - and I am worried about making it. Are these huge stations? Do the numbers on my train ticket correlate to the train I am looking for? Will there be signs with the destinations I can look for? I tried to look up the station maps but they didn't include any details about where to catch certain trains. Any practical advice about making these transfers and how to approach a whole day training through France would be appreciated.

2) (Ugh I know another luggage transfer question) I will have a Cotopaxi 35L with street wear that I want to send from SJPDP to Santiago (or at least very far ahead) From my research everyone says you don't need to book Ivar ahead of time but how does it actually work? I figured there would be an office to drop your bag but it seems you leave it where you're staying...how do they know to come? Thought I'd just figure it out when I got to SJPDP but it being close to the end of the season I want to make sure I do it right. Would love more specifics about this.

Thank you everyone for all the amazing tips and tricks you've left on these threads!

Actually, to send your bag from SJPDP the best service is Express Bourricot. You simply go to their office next to the Pilgrim's Office, give them your information and pay the fee. They give you a tag to put on your bag, and it will be picked up from your lodging in the morning. In Santiago it will be stored at the Loop Inn in their secure luggage storage room. Since Loop Inn has 24 hr reception you can pick it up at your leisure when you get to Santiago.

Thank you SO much. This is exactly the kinda info I was hoping for. This makes me feel much better knowing where to go. I really appreciate this!

We sent our luggage via Post from SJPP to Ivar. No problems and easy. The postal office is between the train station and any lodging. I am happy to know about Express Bouricott’s service.
