Hi there! Yes… wondering whether to walk from Arzúa to O Pedrouoso tmro as planned. It looks very bad… Right now weather app predicting 80mm of rain over 12 hours and gusts reaching 100km/hr.
And I will be walking from Betanzos to Presedo tomorrow (Wednesday) on the Camino Ingles and have heard similar weather forecasts in that area, too...we shall see.

I will take the bus to O Pedrouzo tomorrow. It was bad enough today from Caldas to Arzúa, but tomorrow will be much worse. Safety first.

I am hoping to fly from Lisbon to the US tomorrow, so I may be another one affected by the storm. Predictions don’t put Lisbon in the path of the worst of it, but they are predicting rain and wind down here too.
Fingers crossed! 6:19 am Wednesday morning up in Barquinha, and blowing like a madman, along with heavy rain. I hope your flight goes okay.

Gonzar checking in. Heavy rain and strong gusty winds right now. Rain is supposed to ease off through the morning, but also potential thunderstorms. Good times. 😄

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Here in Asturias Aemet scaled up to Code Red this morning. Wind gusts expected until 140 km/hour. It has been very stormy here since last night. Not in Camino del Norte/Camino Primitivo area though. But everyone is adviced to stay away from the coast because of wind gusts and high waves.

I am safely in Riano now, I got lucky crossing the Mountains yesterday from Espinama/Fuente De (with advice from forum experts) yesterday as weather held. I am in that Red area. On Camino Vadiniese.

Finished my Portuguese Central walk today. After last night’s torrential rain and fearsome winds, there were trees down and debris everywhere along the route. A stretch near the end was closed by police tape and we got rerouted up past the hospital. Fortunately the rain mostly held off after noon or so. Santiago is dry and as lively as ever!

I had an ok day yesterday on the Ingles in spite of rain most of the day, but no high winds. Today, (Thursday) heading to Bruma and now at our pension, I have seen corn a few times today that was "mowed down" from apparent very high winds yesterday. Here a few pictures...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
