Good evening

Can anyone tell me if albergues are open into November on the via de la Plata and onto the Frances , I will be starting in Seville on October the 3rd, will I run into problems?

Thank you in advance.

I finished the VDLP (Sevilla to Santiago via Sanabres) on 18 November. I had no problem with accommodation in Albergues all the way through. The Xunta albergues in Galicia are open all year.

I'm also hoping to start the VdlP in late October through to early December. I've had a look on Gronze and although I might have to slightly change my original planned stages, I'm fairly confident I will with find accommodation options all the way through. There are a couple of places where I'll probably have to use a private pension rather than an albergue, but those nights are always a little bonus! I will be phoning ahead to the albergues, just to make sure they will definitely be open as a precaution. As you are already on your way, I'd appreciate any updates on places that you've found closed despite Gronze saying they open all year! Buen Camino!

I will be hospitalero in Salamanca in the second half of October. Maybe I will see you there!

(You can check out the albergue listings on Gronze to see when they are open and which are year-round, as I see others have already mentioned.)
