Hi everyone,

We're planning to walk from Santiago to Muxia via Finisterre in late October and we're just wondering if the albergues en route will be open at this time of year. Does anyone have experience of this?

Thanks in advance.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Ha I don't know but wanted to say that I just came back last night from doing most of this route and the Primitivo. I loved loved the muxia/lires/Finisterre costal route. My favorite part of my month on the camino!!!!!!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Thank you all for the helpful replies and for directing me to Gronze, it's a very useful site and it looks like we'll have options that are open at that time of year so that's a relief.

I walked from Finesterre to Muxia the second week in November last fall. Nothing was open for lunch or food purchase mid-day in Lires and elsewhere during regular business hours. In addition to checking accommodations, make sure you carry some food because its the end of the season many places may be closed, especially if the weather is poor.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Thank you that's really useful information, we'll be sure to pack some food for that final day.

I’m sure this is asked a lot, but will be finishing the French Camino this weekend and wanting to Go to Finisterre. How do you get there and back by bus? Do you need to purchase your bus tickets...
