I walked from Navarrete to Nájera on 27 June this year. I got to the Albergue Najerino about 3 o'clock and went to look around the Monastery of Santa María la Real. My last photo there was taken at 5:20. The next photo (attached) was taken at 8:20. There is a storks' nest on top of a modern tower fitted with loudspeakers. Do you recognise it? Can you tell me where it is? Thanks.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Can you check the metadata on the photo to see where you took it!
That's beyond me, trecile! My camera is a Nikon Coolpix L340. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have GPS. All I get is the date and time and about 50 other details of the settings on the camera, but no GPS.

Fail to prepare? reduce your risk by buying this book full of practical info.
2nd ed.

If it was taken in Nájera, the albergue would be able to ID it if you e-mail them with the photo attached. I did a Google image search for “nido de cigüeña, Nájera (stork nest)”, but I don’t see anything that looks like it.

Sorry, I was wrongly assuming that you used your phone to take the picture.

Did you stay in Najera that evening? Can you remember where you wandered?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

When did you start on that day?

No idea, but given it is some sort of tower with loud speakers it must be easy for someone more local to identify. I'm assuming you mean 8.20pm and you are still in Najera.

3rd Edition. Vital content training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

I had meant to add that I didn't leave Nájera until the next morning, but I forgot. You may see that my problem has been solved at post #9.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Yes, it was 8:20 p.m. and I was still in Nájera. I am sorry that I expect everyone on this forum to be psychic – that's not meant sarcastically. I should have explained myself better.

excellent work! I tried for an hour, without result!
I tried for longer than that before I gave up and asked the forum. I did not expect it to be a church. And, what's more, it was on the route I took after dinner at the albergue, looking for an ATM. But I didn't think of that until I read Peterexpatkiwi's answer.

Yes, I meant to say that I stayed in Nájera, but forgot. I had forgotten that I wandered down Calle San Fernando looking for an ATM after the albergue dinner. Thankfully, Peterexpatkiwi has provided the answer.

Who on earth would spend an hour online looking for birds on a tower?
This a forum which is very tolerant of, or perhaps blind to, all our various idiosyncrasies and eccentric behaviours. Pilgrimage is a place for all, possibly where normality is elusive. Or simply, a broad church. After, it is not possible to dislike me on this forum.

I'm sure that Robo was being humorous. After all, he admitted spending an hour looking for the storks' nest himself at post #17. He was not really deprecating basquelady.

I edited my post to make it 100% clear I was joking !
The post above it, was me saying I spent an hour looking myself! :):)
