Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

- First one in 1977 by train. Many since then by foot. Next one ASAP.
I'll suggest the Piedras Blancas, in El Burgo Ranero.... and the Albergueria del Camino, in Mansilla de las Mulas.... This snorer has stayed in both, and liked them.

Bercianos del Camino Real - La Parela - I was in a room that had 5 single beds and a private bath.
Reliegos - La Parada - Room with 8-10 single beds and a nice courtyard.
Leon - Hostal Albany - just off the Cathedral courtyard. Small room, fluffy towels, bakery next door!

We have 70 days up our sleeves to do our Camino Mixto. Even with short stages we will probably only need 50 days tops. So lots of potential for extra days in the big towns!
