Northbound or Southbound

In your opinion is there significant differences walking the trail Sobo or Nobo ? I plan to walk it in the beggining of October .

Most people walk southbound but it's signed both ways, so it's up to you. If you walk northbound you won't have the sun in your eyes in the middle part of the day.

I walked it last year, southbound. I ended up with a big group of people, and it was almost camino-like, in terms of the trail family. I don't think that people walking North had nearly as good an experience. Also, if you start on the weekend, you will maximize your chances of walking with other people.

So i wlaked it Northband , quite an adventure i would say . Couple of observations - yes most of the people are doing FT Southband but actually i didnt missed the social aspect . The most frustrating part in some sections was the tailwind as @jungleboy said (i had the sun on my back but the wind was right in my face ) . FT is marked really good in both directions .
