Hi all. I'm planning to walk from Le Puy on the Via Podiensis for a few weeks starting some time in September 2025. Is there are date in September when walker numbers drop off or is it pretty busy right through September? Thanks for any advice on this.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Generally speaking, mid-week is better than weekend, and later in the month is better than earlier. The problem being -- depending on how many weeks you are planning to walk -- there are school holidays in mid-October (specific dates varying with year and school district, there is a calendar posted somewhere) that often are the de facto end of the season, regardless if the listed closure date is Toussaint (All Saints, Nov 1).

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
