Salvador/Primitivo Aug24?
Been back two weeks now from the Salvador and pretty much still lost for words! it's difficult to describe the beauty, difficulty and exhilaration of actually doing this Camino. I've done the Primitivo, Norte, Ingles and sanabres before but this is another level completely, similar to the Primitivo but for me more condensed. I'm now in my early sixties so not quite as fit but I'm so happy I did it now and not years later. My advice to anyone is "just go for it", it's fantastic!
Hi! I'm considering doing the Salavador Route on my own... is it safe for a woman to do it alone? what do you think?

Just adding to the chorus. I have walked the Salvador alone three times - most recently at aged 72. If I am lucky enough to get to Salvador number 4, I will make sure to add a day or two to the 4-day itinerary. I think if the weather is good, a stop in Poladura splits the mountain beauty up into two days so you can really go slow and savor it.

Between Buiza and Poladura and between Poladura and Pajares, there are some parts that qualify in my mind as “remote”, i.e., very inaccessible to cars, far from villages, so having a cell phone would be essential for calls in case of an emergency. I have had Vodafone on all of my Salvadors and did have a few spots with no coverage (I think Movistar has better coverage), but if you are in an emergency and dial 112, your phone will pick up any network that has coverage at your spot and transmit the call.

Go for it, @DaniBsAs!
