There is an ALSA bus every day at 1200 from Pamplona to SJPDP.
Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

We are using Express Bourricot. The price goes down with the number of people in the shuttle. We have one set it for April 18 at 13:50.
Ah, sounds good. I found a shared taxi and made it to St Jean pied de port today. I thought everything would be closed on Sunday. But the pilgrims office and sporting goods stores are open! So now all that is left to do tomorrow is walk! Actually, the day after because I booked two nights. So tomorrow I will explore the town. Perhaps I will see you, as I am a slow walker.

I didn't know that Express Bourricot picked up in Pamplona.

It seems reasonable, but last year when I called them about transport from Pamplona airport, they would not pick up from there unless they already had a fare from France to Pamplona, so I lucked out and got a free ride with another pilgrim who's travel package had a van waiting for him at the airport! Maybe things changed since then.
