I am a lone traveling wife. My husband does not like to travel so I went alone. I am glad because I had an awesome time thanks to him. I work full time and this was an amazing experience to disconnect. I was not looking to band up and walk with people I wanted to be alone. I was able to and some people did walk with me at times.
I did my first Camino April 25 to May 30 2023. It was nothing like what I expected. Do not expect what you read, hear, see or learn from others, your camino is unique to you. I was supposed to start in SjPdP and it was problem after problem and I made the decision to start in Pamplona losing all payments for the first 4 nights from Sjpdp. It was an amazing time and I loved it even with all the things that were not like I expected. I hope to go again in 2025 maybe April.
