Walked in 2009, volunteered as host for 6 summers. Feb 2016, I started Project Brigid along the Camino; it's a new type of Cultural Center, focused not on showing the local culture, but focused on cultural exchange. We use workshops as a medium to unite diverse groups of people who share a similar interest. It's working like a charm; next stop, the world!
I've used couchsurfing for 7 years, lived in Berlin, Munic, Chicago, South Florida, Dominican Republic, Leon - Spain, Barcelona.
I learned Spanish when I was 26 and now I'd like to learn German
I love to be honest, work hard and connect culturally diverse groups of people, hoping that in doing so, the world will be united through a heightened level of cultural understanding.
Before I walked the Camino, I was the security director of a very popular bar in Chicago for 6 years and I was a business professional by day (marketing). My first job (15) I wanted to do volunteer work, and I spent the first year of my working life, just volunteering.
I really do just love to help people!
Cultural Immersion is the Seed to Cultural Progression
Please, help us change the world, one community at a time!
