I have wanted to travel my whole life and I took a cruise in 2005 right after I turned 40 and I thought that would be the start of getting to travel, but it didn't work out that way. So here it is 8 years later and I think I've finally got it together and can begin to travel this Fall.
Why the Camino?
In 2010, I saw the movie 'The Way' and having grown up Catholic, it really spoke to me. While I am no longer practicing that faith, I still react to it and I miss it greatly. Pope Francis is making great strides in winning me back with his focus on helping the poor and sick and less focus on social and political issues.
