  I have done both, switched routes and also walked the same route more than once. I find it isn’t possible to “do the same Camino twice,” because things are always changing, as am I.

  Also, off season, unless you are walking only the last 100 km or so from Tui or Sarria, no organized pack transfer is available, so you need to be prepared to carry your own things.

  Much of above is great info! Just a few other things Depending where in the world you come from you may find it odd that heating in most albergues and accomodation is switched off at night. - always carry food! And a microwaveable container...

  The camino de Madrid was a lovely 2 weeks walk, quite easy, except for the climb before Segovia, which was a beautiful mountain day. Lots of history, very quiet.
