I am a professor of medieval art and have taught classes on medieval pilgrimage since 2006, but I have never had the chance to walk the Camino. I conducted my doctoral research about 12th-century village churches along the via Turonensis on a bicycle and I have delayed the urge to get back on the road for too long. 2020 is the year for me.
