Bruma, assuming you stay there, is a potential red flag. It's a pinch point and popular stop as walkers from Ferrol and A Coruna converge there. It's a tiny village with one municipal albergue, one private albergue and one tiny private hostal.
Not if you start walking early and arrive by opening time. You have picked peak Camino time but, if you’re lucky you should be fine.
I’m not starting till late September and I’ve pre-booked all my accommodations but that’s because I can and...
There are some other places that meet the requirement to start in A Coruna. I have the credential from San Antonio, Texas (El Camino de San Antonio Missions). I'll start in A Coruna, present my San Antonio distance certificate, and collect my...

Had communal meals at Albergue de Peregrino Camino de Padron in Uterga, at El Cantero in Maneru, Albergue...

If it is a legal thing ( against the law ) then the way to act is to go to the police and file a complaint. Meaning that when you experienced any kind of violation/ harrassment they can sort it out.
If it was just plain rudeness: suck it up.
Get over yourself and move on, that would be my advice. Not sure why you're letting a comment from a stranger at a 5 euro albergue wind you up so much.
Nope. I’ve met a few pilgrims I wish I hadn’t.
Having drunk in the Coach and Horses when Norman Balon ruled the jump I can honestly state that I have never encountered a hospitelero/a that hasn’t acted with integrity. Even when they’ve...
