There was a bagpiper there playing “Amazing Grace” when I finished in October 2013. It was my late father’s favorite hymn and made me think of him as I walked those final steps in the gentle rain. -

Slight tangent but I stayed in an albergue last week that saved lower bunks for those over 50! It’s great when local managers implement those type of working practices locally (where practical).
