This will be my first Camino!
I was first introduced to the Camino via Paulo Coelho.
This has been a year of changes and trials.
Lots of loss in the immediate family...boyfriend's brother, boyfriend's son's granny, close friend's mom, my grandma...time to purge and move forward. I'm looking forward to time to reflect, grieve, and have some peace. I quit my job this year as the fit was totally wrong. I am needing to ponder marrying my boyfriend and assuming official stepmom role! Lots going on here. I look forward to the communal aspects of the Camino and am nervous about being alone some too. I have traveled alone...but I've never taken on a 7 week solitary journey. I'm hoping to connect with others! I trust that God will bring those I need...and those who need me too!
I've spent time in Mexico and Argentina and love Spanish. AS an interesting side note, my last job was at VW, and there is a VW plant in Pamplona. One of my bosses at the plant in Tennessee was a transplant from Pamplona!
