Hi, @Flashman101, welcome to the forum. You should check out this current planning thread. @Charrito is currently walking and is posting there regularly. Also, there are some other great threads that you will find if you just scroll through...

I think this is a continuation of some of what I would describe as unnecessary hype about this camino. It is no more remote, no more dangerous than many of the caminos walked by many forum members. It reminds me of the notice that the...

jungleboy replied to the thread The three rules of the Geira.
We usually do No. 1 and No. 3 anyway and also did so on the Geira. As for No. 2, booking all accommodation before starting out, we didn’t do that, just called a day ahead and that worked well at the time. That was in 2021, maybe things have...

jungleboy reacted to Pilar's post in the thread Via degli Dei - has anyone walked it? with Like Like.
I have walked the Via Degli Dei three times. It is a fabulous walk. You can easily do it in a week. There is an online guide that helps. There is an Italian guide that you can follow even if you don't speak Italian. PM me if you want anymore...

Thank you! BTW, thought of you when I read about the Caminho de Fé in Brazil. Knowing Portuguese would give you two a boost. (And Lisbon to São Paulo or Rio is an easy flight.)

I haven’t walked the Via degli Dei, but instead I can highly recommend the Via Ellenica in southern Italy (eight days from Alberobello to Matera). I wrote a short summary in this thread and our podcast episode about it is coming later this week!

It won't be a logistical nightmare for me this autumn, but I'm sure it will take a lot longer! :)

So many of Santiago's vegetarian restaurants are closed on Monday! You could have a very good vegetarian lunch at the new and popular Nara Noodle Bar - even their kimchi is vegan, which isn't usually the case!
