Hello, friends. I enjoyed a rather rainy but still very beautiful Camino from Porto to Santiago from late September to early October this year. I have posted some of my photos if anyone cares to have a look. Buen Camino! -
The pilgrims office in Lisbon will be closed (closes for the season mid-end of October), but the book store in the Cathedral also sells them. Bom caminho!

I walked last year over Christmas from Porto to SdC and never had a problem with open albergues except Christmas eve. It was a lovely, quiet walk with zero rain. Buen Camino!

Most of the luggage transport services end in late October. As far as I know the only regular services in November are on the section of the Frances from Sarria onwards and on the Portugues from Tui.

Same thing just happened to me on 8/20, and they got a bus for everyone in Bayonne to SJPDP. I went from panicked to at ease surprisingly quickly. I think it happens regularly.
