I walked SJPdP to SdC at age 64 in a very comfortable 35 days of walking. I took a day off in both Burgos and Leon, not because I needed rest days, but because they were interesting places to explore. The cathedrals, Museum of Human Evolution... -

All I ever planned was my first night in St Jean and even then yhe albergue closed and never informed anyone that they were gone. Fortunately got into Belari. I then started walking. No plans, no reservations no backpack transport, just one foot...

Hotel Rural Las Aguedas is a wonderful place. The lady that runs it it is wonderful, the food is wonderful, The back yard is wonderful.

As stated previously, Las Águedas is a lovely little hotel. Very laid back and the hosts cooked everyone a fantastic dinner.

We also stayed at Hotel Rural Las Aquedas during our camino. Very nice private place with each room filled with wonderful antiques. Quiet and comfortable. Nice back yard to rest. Hostess / owner did our laundry and prepared delicious dinner...

Hi Jenulian, If you can afford to pay a bit more then the Hotel Rural de Las Aguedas is lovely. Great tasty communal meal as well. I stayed last year after terrible blisters made me cut my daily walk short. Also a lovely village cafe on the way...
