I recommend enabling your smartphone with electronic payments, such as Apple Pay and/or Google pay. I recently completed the Camino Portugués and had to activate my Google Pay because so many places did not accept cash (restaurants, shops...

Grousedoctor replied to the thread Wet hiking shoes.
Not having waterproof shoes in September might be a good thing. You’re likely to hit some hot weather. My experience with my GTXs is that they can become uncomfortably hot. Nonetheless, you’ll hit wet weather as well. Pull your insoles and...

Personally i always found the energy from St Jean up until Burgos something special. Plus the great scenery, culture and food. If you want to walk till Logrono or further on, thats for you to decide. But technically you can just start and see how...

There does seem to be a mentality by some that a donotivo means a cheap night! I remember spending one of my favorite nights on the CP at Casa da Fernanda. What hospitality! A warm bed, snacks and wine upon arrival, a scrumptious dinner, and...

Posted before; i met an American guy who had walked from SJPP using as many donativo's as he could because they were FREE!!! We were walking to Mazarife i put him right but from his response and demeanor i got the feeling he was going to carry on!!
