If you haven’t been to Madrid, I’d fly home from there. After most of my Caminos, I treat myself to both a relaxing high speed train ride and a couple days in Madrid before returning back to the States.
It seems to me that, if the area of search is identified, any risks associated searching other areas that they might have been looking at if they didn't have the precise location would be eliminated.
