She's like a mother hen, kindness itself! When I came in cold and wet in late October she insisted on feeding me a big steaming bowl of caldo to get some heat in my bones before signing me in. -

Something I forgot to mention was that as we passed two local women in the rain this morning, I said ‘Buenos días’ to them, and one of them replied, ‘De bueno, ¡no tiene nada!’ (Basically: ‘there’s nothing good about it!’).
