You could also consider taking the variant to Valcarlos if the options mentioned above do not work out for you. I found it to be lovely with a lot of variety of terrain and there is a stop along the way to get a snack and rest. Also, the dinner...

Precisely! Nothing to do with the subject of the thread but to punctuate the point: The Pilgrim who went off at me and another Peregrina in O Pedrouso around 9:00 pm (so, well before the 'lights out' time) for "talking too loud " locked himself...

Tell your friend to come and walk without, concern: a CPAP machine is vastly quieter than the snoring that can happen without it. My worst sleep on any camino (hands down) was a night when I had a bunk near someone with loud sleep apnea. He was...

Like some others posting, I have run into far, far, far too many pilgrims who have assumed that it meant free. In every training session in which I have helped, I joined with other veterans in making clear that this was not so. I wish the...

Time for some direct words: I am really curious about how your experience allows you to make this "very reasonable" claim. Your exact $114 is based on various uncertain items and the even more vague "very nice" hotels. Let me claim Euro 65...

As a user, c-pap machines are necessary for your basic health. The snoring is annoying but more alarming is when you stop breathing which affects your brain and your heart. During the course of the night you can have apnea more than 30 times...

I have a slightly different take on this than everybody else. Which is: it depends. The interior heels on my HOKA's, and many other people seem to wear out first, prematurely. HOKA itself says they're running shoes should get between 200 to...

Yeah new pair to start now on my 10th pair of Hoka Stinsons! I always start a Camino with a new pair and Superfeet Green insoles (i supinate). Put them on and start walking never had a problem; so comfy for me but maybe not you. Ditto Anhalter...

Chiming in on the "replace them" crowd. I usually start wearing my camino trail runners a week or two before i set off to Camino, walk in them, if they have some life left afterwards they get to be my new dog walking shoes.
