Hey everyone, i guess I'm not good at starting threads, but rather comment. I guess my last "own" thread is the one a couple of years ago where i talked about my 3,6kg loadout for the Camino Frances (see signature). Today i felt like opening a...

Walked in May this year. I did stay in albergues about 70% of the time. Those i stayed in all provided blankets, but you needed at least some sort of liner. The blankets did look OK, actually better than those i encountered on the C.Frances. But...

I did this Camino in 2018, 2019,2022 and 2024. I personally update the guide each time. None of it is copied. Contact the accommodation 1 or 2 days before your stay. GPS tracks or the stages on your Phone ARE ESSENTIAL...

You might try some of the top-end tours, such as those offered by Nat Geo. That's the kind of accommodation they offer, plus full support for a nice walk. Encouragement to go outside the comfort zone - lots of us who are in our 60s and 70s stay...

Go see a doctor. An online community forum is not the best place to seek medical advice. Doctors are inexpensive in Spain. If it gets infected, it could get really bad. Keep it clean and keep it covered UNTIL you seek a medical professional...

There is no one-size-fits-all here, though in hot and sunny weather, after arrival in the Albergue, I personally would recommend putting your naked foot (no compeed etc) out in direct sunlight, preferably with the rest of you comfy with a cool...
