I have just arrived in Baiona after walking from Oia. The first part was roadside but I found the views of the coast compensated. I then went inland ‘up and over’ which was very nice. Looks like there is plenty going on in Baiona!

We left from A Garda and stopped in Oia. The next day to Baiona went up and over before the Faro de Cabo Silleiro lighthouse. I don't remember a lot of flat and hot- perhaps because of the rain? Sorry you found it so unpleasant- we enjoyed this...

It's going to be like that, mostly, until Vigo. But after Vigo you have a nice walk to Redondela through woods overlooking the Vigo estuary. In general, you'll see more vegetation after Vigo because you'll be heading inland.

If you have had your fill of road walking, it is worthwhile taking the complementary route into Pontevedra. This will keep you off the roads for a little longer if it is open.
