I’m thinking they possibly fell out of someone’s pack and another pilgrim set them up on the table to be thoughtful. But after seeing them sit there for so long, it seemed wisdom to take them forward.
There were no aesos in the vicinity and they had been sitting at the Stone table on the trail for 45 minutes. So at the point that nobody seem to be returning, it seemed the best to take them forward to the end of the stage.
I have found a pair of sunglasses and prescription glasses on a table along the path in arcade. I’m taking them forward today to leave at the Albay in Ponte Vedra. Message me for more info.
Good to hear it's changed. For the North Americans metrically challenged: 71 mm (millimetres) = 7 cm (centimetres) = close to 3 inches! (approximately 2 1/2 cm/in). That is ONE HECK of a lot of rain!
